Biography

Steffen Hoffmann has been President of Robert Bosch Ltd since 1st April 2015 .

With 25 years experience at Bosch, Steffen is involved in many different aspects of the Bosch business in the UK and Ireland. His position covers two main areas of responsibilities: overseeing the overall Bosch UK and Ireland business as the President of Robert Bosch Ltd, and co-ordination of finance and administration for all Bosch entities in region.

Steffen studied Business Administration and Management from 1985 to 1992: first gaining a Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany, followed by a Master’s Degree and then a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.), both at the University of St Gallen, Switzerland.

Steffen began his career in 1992 in Germany at Robert Bosch GmbH as a management trainee and went on to hold several executive commercial roles in different countries, including Germany, Japan and South Africa.

Before taking over his current position, Steffen was the Managing Director of Robert Bosch, Southern Africa, as well as the Head of the Automotive (Original Equipment) Business in those countries, holding the positions from late 2009 until December 2014.

Steffen is married with a 17-year-old daughter. He is passionate about classic cars and a keen golfer.

Biography

Arun Srinivasan was appointed as the Head of Bosch Mobility Solutions Division (BBM), in the UK and Ireland as of 1 April 2015.

With over 35 years of experience at Bosch, Arun is involved in many different aspects of the Bosch Mobility business in the region. His position will cover two main areas of responsibilities: overseeing the Bosch Mobility Solutions UK and Ireland business and global responsibility for Bosch’s business with Jaguar Land Rover (JLR).

Arun began his career in 1980 in Bangalore, India at the Bosch subsidiary, MICO, as a Technical Graduate Trainee, and went on to hold several executive engineering roles in India, Germany and the UK.

Before taking over his current position, Arun was Senior Vice President, Sales & Application Diesel Systems, based in Stuttgart, Germany. Here he was responsible for global Sales & Application of all Diesel Systems products for some of Bosch’s largest customers.

Arun is married and has two children, a son and a daughter. Cars are his passion and he enjoys sport and paints and sketches for relaxation.
