On Sunday 23rd April 2017, runners hit the streets of London for the 26.2-mile famous marathon course which started at Greenwich and finished at The Mall.

Bosch associate Debbie Corteen took on the London Marathon, raising money for Children with Cancer UK. Debbie has been supporting cancer charities since her father passed away three years ago, and having a young child herself, the thought of a child sick with this disease provided the motivation to run and fundraise for the charity.

Just months before the marathon Debbie suffered from a knee injury during training, putting her hopes of participating in the marathon in doubt. However, her determination to recover ensured she was at the start line with the rest of the runners. Cheered on by her partner, daughter and friends, Debbie completed the marathon raising around £2000 for Children with Cancer.
