Steven Shorto | The only way is up

Top of Mera Peak
Over the last few years, Steve Shorto has set himself a series of increasingly difficult challenges; from tackling a Tough Mudder event, to cycling in the London to Brighton bike ride, to even stepping into a boxing ring for bout – all in aid of his favourite charity, the Alzheimer’s Society.

But in November 2017, Steve embarked on his greatest and definitely toughest challenge yet - to climb Mera Peak, a 6,476 metre (21,247 feet) mountain in the Himalayas.

Despite both mental and physical challenges, Steve successfully reached the summit with his fellow climbers after three weeks of trekking. Watch the video below to find out more about his fundraising journey.

With the help of Bosch associates Steve managed to raise over £4,500 for the Alzheimer’s Society – almost double his original target! We look forward to finding out what challenge Steve will be tackling this year!
