Jonathan Burton

Jonathan Burton was appointed as Head of Legal for the UK & Ireland in February 2012, assuming responsibility for the legal function in Northern Europe in January 2018. Jonathan has been a member of Board of Management since 2014.

With over 20 years’ experience, Jonathan started his career as a corporate lawyer at Mills & Reeve LLP in Cambridge, before moving to Field Fisher LLP in London. Prior to joining Bosch, Jonathan worked as Head of Legal for certain territories at ESAB, a producer of standard welding equipment, consumables, and automation equipment.

In addition to his legal role, Jonathan is also Finance Officer for the company, responsible for ensuring compliance with the company’s financial obligations and Company Secretary for many of the UK Bosch companies.

Jonathan is married with three boys. He is a keen sportsman and also coaches the junior section at his local rugby club.
